This project set out to break stigma, build referral networks, and ensure girls and young women can access safe, compassionate post-abortion care.

What the project focuses on:

• Stigma reduction through dialogues and VCAT.
• Strengthening community- facility linkages.
• Building a digitally connected mentorship network.
• Youth-led creative advocacy (radio drama, theatre, storytelling).
• Expanding PAC access for adolescents and young women.

Key achievements:

• 5,300 people reached directly and indirectly in six months.
• 700 plus PAC and SRH referrals documented.
• 64 percent of PAC clients at supported facilities were AGYW.
• VCAT scores among influencers rose from 32 to 67 percent.
• Religious and cultural leaders shifted from resistance to active support.
• WhatsApp mentorship networks coordinating 60 plus referral champions.
• Engagement of 616 community actors and training of 72 CHWs and peer educators.
• Youth drama reached over 1,500 listeners and became an IEC tool across facilities.
